Showcase Your Research at the MSA Autumn Meeting

The MSA has a long tradition of supporting education in the Midlands through its annual Trainees Prize for presentations relating to anaesthesia, intensive care and pain management.

The competition now forms part of the MSA Autumn Meeting, giving participants the opportunity to present their work to anaesthetists from across the region.

Who Can Enter

Open to doctors of all grades, including foundation doctors, and Anaesthesia Associates.

Verbal Presentations

Five shortlisted presentations, with 10 minutes to present followed by up to 5 minutes of questions.

Poster Presentations

Selected posters are displayed at the meeting and judged by a senior panel during the breaks.

Recognition & Prizes

Gold, Silver and Bronze awards, prize money and certificates recognising all accepted submissions.

Abstracts are competitively shortlisted by a panel of senior anaesthetists for verbal or poster presentation.
